Larry Burns

Larry is a professor at Grand Valley State University, where he has worked for over 15 years. He has extensive academic and business acumen that enables him to assist Pondera on special projects. His extensive knowledge of psychology, especially personality theory including neurological and environmental aspects, brings insight and experience to the table. He has also published widely in the area of perfectionism.

Larry received a B.A. in Nautical Industrial Technology from the California Maritime Academy, a Non-matriculated Minor in Psychology from Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook.

Larry and his wife, Laura, live in Grand Haven with their son. In his free time Larry enjoys hiking and running.

Roger Nemeth

Roger is an accomplished professor, researcher, sociologist, and statistician. He affords Pondera, and our clients, a statistical expertise that is used to identify significant relationships in the data from our psychological assessments and surveys.

Roger received his Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in Sociology and History, and his Master’s and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina. He has taught at the University of North Carolina and Hope College as a professor of Sociology. Roger is currently a full tenured faculty member at Hope College.

Roger currently lives in Holland, MI with his wife. When he is not teaching or conducting research, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
